Paid them over $2300 to perform a safety inspection, replace two tires, front shocks and an a/c repair. First trip in the RV I break down in Rifle, Colorado and have broken A/C and my front stabilizer bar is completely loose and it is unsafe to drive. Pay another $1404 in Rifle to repair broken AC and make the front suspension safe to drive. What’s awful about Springs Auto and Truck is that when I reach out to discuss the issues, I am immediately told I have no coverage from them even though they admitted they should have caught the unsafe suspension during the shock replacement or the safety inspection which I paid extra for. I had my wife and two kids with me and all I get is a “sorry”. I asked to speak with the owner and apparently he doesn’t care enough to even call. I end up texting back and forth with Tyler, the service advisor while he tells me he thinks it’s unfair but there’s nothing he can do. I thought everyone should know how this business will treat you if things don’t go great with their work. I recommend reading more Yelp reviews if you still plan on using this place. I have attached the text messages with Tyler. I think he is a nice guy who works hard and means well but was ultimately never going to help me so everyone can see what happens when you have a problem with this company.
Christian, I am sorry to hear you feel this way, as previously discussed I am still willing to reimburse you for your safety inspection. The fact is, that regardless of fault for the missed sway bar bushings and/or connections, the expense would have been yours for the repaired/replaced parts whether it was at our location or another shop. (Which is what the company is standing by) Likewise with the A/C, we installed a secondary switch to power on your compressor. Had that failure occurred within our switch or wiring, repairs/towing would have been covered, however, a mechanical failure with the compressor is not covered because at the time of vehicle release, your compressor was fully operational with no signs of future failure. With that said, if any of our actual repairs had failed during your trip our coverage would have been extended to you 100% for parts, labor and towing. Further more, our conversation was left by you before we were able to reach any sort of meaningful resolution. You have my personal number, I urge you to please contact me so we can make things right. Thank you for your time. -Tyler
